English as a Second Language (ESL)

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are a ministry of Vineyard Columbus. We are dedicated to equipping refugees and immigrants with quality English education through volunteer-led classes. We provide six different levels of instruction during the fall and spring sessions, with a more relaxed conversation program in the summer.



Summer 2026 ESL Program

Classes are currently full for our Spring 2026 semester. Registration dates and class dates for our upcoming Summer 2026 semester are below.


Conversation Classes - Summer

Our relaxed conversation classes will take place in the Vineyard Community Center on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on Monday, June 8th and ending on Wednesday, July 22nd. Conversation will take place from 10 AM - 11 AM. No book is required for this class, and registration is not required.


Introduction to English Class - Summer

We will have an introduction class for those who cannot yet participate in conversation.

• This class will also take place on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Vineyard Community Center beginning on Monday, June 8th and ending on Wednesday, July 22nd.
• Books cost $20 cash, and there is no registration required.

ESOL classes are also available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings through the Delaware Area Career Center. For more information, please contact them directly. 740-548-0708

If you live outside the zip code areas, we can serve you once. If you live in the zip code areas and/or are a member/attender of our church, you may access our pantries monthly. Due to limited space, there will be no indoor shopping, and shoppers will have access to an online food ordering system. Guests will need a unique Shopper ID and PIN to access the online food ordering system. Please send your name, address, and date of birth to community.outreach@vineyardcolumbus.org get your account information.

Guests are welcome to place online food orders to be picked up during our food pantry hours:

• Mondays, 1:00-3:30pm; food orders and free produce
• Mondays, 5:00-6:00pm; food orders and free produce
• Tuesdays,Closed
