English as a Second Language (ESL)

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are a ministry of Vineyard Columbus. We are dedicated to equipping refugees and immigrants with quality English education through volunteer-led classes. We provide six different levels of instruction during the fall and spring sessions, with a more relaxed conversation program in the summer.

Fall 2025

Evening Program

• -Tuesday Evenings, August 26th – December 9th 2025, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM, Vineyard Community Center
• -Registration will take place in person on August 26th, with class beginning on September 2nd. Registration will fully close on September 9th, and new students can register again in January. Classes are free,   and workbooks cost $20 cash.
• -Childcare is provided.

Daytime Program

• -Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Mornings, September 3rd 2025 – December 12th 2025, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, Vineyard Community Center
• -Registration will take place in person on September 3rd, with classes beginning on September 5. Registration will fully close on September 12th, and new students can register again in January. Classes are   free, and workbooks cost $20 cash.
• -Childcare is not provided.

If you live outside the zip code areas, we can serve you once. If you live in the zip code areas and/or are a member/attender of our church, you may access our pantries monthly. If you do not live in the zip code area, but you are in our church database, please contact Jason at community.outreach@vineyardcolumbus.org.

Due to limited space, there will be no indoor shopping, and shoppers will have access to an online food ordering system. Guests will need a unique Shopper ID and PIN to access the online food ordering system. Please send your name, address, and date of birth to community.outreach@vineyardcolumbus.org get your account information.

Guests are welcome to place online food orders to be picked up during our food pantry hours:
Monday, 1-4:30pm food orders and free produce
Tuesdays,1-4:30pm- food orders only
Wed- Closed
Thursdays, 1-4:30pm –food orders only
Saturdays, 9:00am - 11:00am –food orders only
