The Vineyard Early Childhood Center provides full-time childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We also provide a part-time, 1/2-day preschool program for ages 3 to 5. Children must be potty-trained. (September through May only.)
Commonly Asked Questions
Where can I pick up an application?
Applications are available from a receptionist in our church ministry center between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm.
Do you accept part time enrollment in your full time, year round program?
No, we only accept children who need care all day, Monday through Friday.
Do you accept Title XX?
Yes, but you must be approved for full time hours and can verify that you currently receive benefits in order to enroll your child.
Do you have a waiting list for your center, and if so, how do I get onto the waiting list?
Yes, we do have a waiting list for some of our classrooms, but it is always a good rule to call and check on the wait list status. To put your child on the wait list, we will need a completed application along with a $25 registration fee to hold a space. If you receive Title XX, the registration fee is waived and we will need a copy of your current 310 to hold a space.
Is there a difference in your part time preschool and full time program offered for 3-5 year olds?
No, our full time program also offers the preschool component. We offer our full time program for working families who need the care all day for their child.
What type of curriculum do you use?
In our infant and toddler rooms we use Innovations. The teachers align their lesson plans with the Ohio Infant/Toddler Guidelines. In our preschool rooms we use Read, Play, Learn. The teachers align their lesson plans with the Ohio Department of Education's Preschool Early Learning Content Standards.
